I was born and raised in Portland, OR., the youngest of 4 boys. My life growing up consisted of family, sports, school and church (not necessarily in that order). I was introduced to Christ at a young age and got serious about my faith and future call into ministry during my Junior year in High School.

I attended Multnomah University in Portland, OR. (formerly known as Multnomah Bible College) where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Studies; played basketball and served in sports ministry for 4 years including missions trips to Portugal, France and Ireland to use basketball to share the Gospel. I met my wife Candace of nearly 25 years during my Senior year at Multnomah. We married in Feb. of 1995 and have 4 amazing children Zane (college); Ivana (high school); Roman (middle school) and Boone (elementary school).

After 20 years of full-time Student ministry in 3 different churches, in 3 different states (WA., OR. and AZ.); and finishing my Master’s in Biblical Studies from Phoenix Seminary I accepted my first Lead Pastor role at Emmanuel Bible Fellowship in Olympia, WA. in Dec. of 2012 (where I had previously served as Youth Pastor from 1993-2002).

After a great almost 5 years my family and I were excited to accept the call to be the Lead Pastor of LifeBridge starting in Sept. of 2017. One of the greatest strengths of LifeBridge is that it’s a diverse, multi-generational church committed to knowing and living for Jesus as revealed in the Bible. I’m so excited to see all the Lord does through His people as we serve Him together and reach out in love to serve our community and world.
